FAQs
Do you offer both hair and makeup?
Yes- I’m fully trained in both, which means I can create a cohesive, seamless looks from start to finish. It also helps your wedding morning/ appointment feel calm and stress-free, with fewer moving parts to coordinate.
Howeber, if you’d prefer to book just hair or just makeup, I’m more than happy to offer either service individually based on your needs.
How do i secure my date?
To secure your wedding date, click here to fill out the bridal enquiry form — this will take you to your own personalised WedQuarters, where we’ll start shaping your perfect morning. The more detail you can share about your day, the better I can tailor everything to suit you. A signed contract and booking fee are required to lock in your date.
For non-bridal bookings, like events or proms, click here to enquire. A £40.00 or $80.00 non refundable deposit is needed to confirm your booking, with the remaining balance due on the day of your appointment.
If you have any questions about the booking process or need help with anything at all, I’m always happy to chat.
Please be sure to check the Terms & Conditions when booking any service.
do you work with a team for larger bookings or if you’re unavailable?
Absolutely. I have a hand-selected pro team who not only assist me on larger bookings but also represent my brand independently for weddings and appointments. Each artist shares my aesthetic, values, and standards, and I personally oversee every booking to ensure a seamless and consistent experience.
What is the minimum/ maximum for a booking?
For bridal bookings, a minimum of the Bride plus two additional people for both hair and makeup is required.
If you’re booking hair or makeup only, the minimum is the Bride plus three.
For events and proms, I’m happy to take individual bookings, depending on availability.
If your booking involves a larger group or has limited timing, an assistant may be required to ensure everything runs smoothly. The assistant fee is £90.00 (UK) or $180.00 (Australia), which covers their time, travel, kit, and insurance.
How long will hair/ and or makeup take?
Every bride and client is different, so timing depends on your unique features, preferences, and how much you’d like done. On average, I allow around 2 to 2.5 hours for bridal hair and makeup, but this can be adjusted to suit your look and your morning.
For additional services, I typically allow 1.5 hours per person for both hair and makeup, and around 45 minutes for either hair or makeup alone. This applies to bridesmaids, proms, and other events.
I’ll also create a personalised schedule so everything runs smoothly and the morning feels calm, never rushed.
How early should i book?
As early as possible, especially for peak dates (May–September). I usually open bookings 12–18 months in advance.
What brands do you use?
My kit includes a curated mix of luxury, professional, and sensitive skin-friendly products. Everything is tried, tested, and photography-approved to ensure a flawless, long-lasting finish.
If there are any specific products you need or prefer, whether for skincare, allergies, or personal reasons, please get in touch ahead of your appointment and we can discuss the best approach together.
DO you do destination weddings and events?
Absolutely! Sophie and her professional team are available for destination weddings and events in Australia and internationally. Separate travel fees and minimum booking requirements apply. Please get in touch with your wedding date and location for a bespoke quote.
What happens if you are unwell?
In the extremely rare event I’m unable to attend, a trusted member of my pro team will step in. I will have personally briefed them on every detail of your look to ensure a seamless experience, and you’ll still receive the same calm, professional service you were expecting.
