Terms & Conditions – By Sophie Sheridan
These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings made with Sophie Sheridan ("the Artist") for hair and/or makeup services. By proceeding with a booking, you agree to the following:
Booking and Payment
A booking is only confirmed once a non-refundable deposit have been received.
Bridal bookings require a completed enquiry form via WedQuarters.
The remaining balance is due no later than four weeks prior to the wedding date.
For non-bridal bookings (events, proms, etc.), a £40.00 or $80.00 deposit is required to secure the appointment, with the remaining balance due on the day of the booking.
Once the deposit fee is paid, any reduction in services booked will not be accepted.
Trial Appointments
Trials are recommended for Bridal bookings and should take place between 2-5 months prior to the event.
Trial payments are due no later than the day of the trial.
A trial does not secure your event date unless the deposit and contract have been completed.
Cancellations and Changes
Deposits are non-refundable under all circumstances.
Cancellations made less than 4 months before the wedding/event date will be charged in full.
If you need to reschedule or cancel a non-bridal appointment, please provide at least 72 hours’ notice or full payment will be required.
Additions to the booking (e.g., number of people, location, or timing) must be confirmed in writing and may be subject to additional fees or availability. Once the deposit is paid, any reduction in services will not be accepted
Travel and Assistants
Travel is included up to a set distance from Leamington Spa (UK Bookings) or Wollongong (Australia). Beyond this, travel fees may apply.
If an assistant is required due to booking size, timing, or logistics, a fee of £90.00 (UK) or $180.00 (Australia) will be added to cover their travel, kit, and insurance.
Health and Safety
Clients must disclose any known allergies, sensitivities, or medical conditions that may affect the service.
The Artist reserves the right to refuse service if any contraindications are present or if the client is unwell.
Hygiene and cleanliness are prioritised, and all tools and products are sanitised before each booking.
Photography Marketing
The Artist may take photographs before, during, or after the service for portfolio and marketing purposes.
If you do not consent to having your image used, please confirm this with the artist.
Liability
The Artist is not liable for any skin reactions or sensitivities that may occur. All products are high-quality and tested, but it remains the client’s responsibility to inform of any concerns prior to application.
Sophie or any Pro Artist working holds the right to refuse service to any client
Force Majeure
In the rare case of personal emergency or illness, the Artist will make every effort to find a suitable replacement from their trusted pro team. If this is not possible, a full refund of monies paid (excluding trial or completed services) will be issued.
